Open Storytelling

Feedback form is now closed.
Join us for a highly informal and highly experimental exploration of open storytelling. We will review the basics of a great story, and provide a variety of materials to make sense of stories we tell ourselves, stories we tell others, and stories we will tell in the future.

All visual content is open/CC0/public domain, and provided by CC Search. Prompts are derived from public works (famed Lisbon poet Fernando Pessoa) and from Futurist/Design duo Stuart Candy and Jeff Watson’s generative system The Thing From The Future.

Accessibility: High. Minimal use of English. Mostly Visual (Photographs). Participation in your preferred language/approach highly encouraged!

This workshop/experience is inclusive by design. We want the workshop to attract as diverse a range of participants as possible and we believe that our workshop will be attractive to anyone attending the summit as storytelling is a universal tool. Since we will be working with photos, participants with limited English will be able to participate. We will also have sound and writing optional components - in this way we can incorporate a wide number of individuals and their needs. Content will be acquired from the worldwide CC licensed body of work or the public domain
