New in the public domain and just 70 years old! We can use that sentence every year. There is a huge opportunity to celebrate the commons on a global scale with public domain day. This event will increase the visibility of the worldwide movement and the individual Creative Commons chapters. During this session we will discuss how we can maximize the potential impact of this and/or other events and what support chapters need to participate. An inspiration for public domain day is Wiki Loves Monuments, which has (had) a lot of impact in connecting and professionalize the wikimedia community.
