I am a Wikimedia volunteer and open-knowledge activist.
A Wikipedia editor since 2005, I have worked with cultural institutions, helping to upload their collections to Wikimedia Commons ; and have been involved for ten years in
Wiki Loves Monuments, an international initiative to document built cultural heritage.
Since 2018, I have focused my energy on Wikidata. I am the creator and maintainer of
integraality, a tool to create dashboards of property coverage for given subsets of Wikidata.
My current interest is expanding the depth and breadth of coverage regarding video games, with the goal of making Wikidata the hub of all video game metadata, linking together hundreds of institutional, commercial, academic and community-driven databases. I described that work in 2019 in a blog-post called
“Wikidata, the underground fungus in the vast forest that is the Internet” (and
regularly write updates).
Originally from France, I now live in Vienna, Austria (where I work in cloud infrastructure engineering). You can reach me on Twitter or
Mastodon.
