Jennifer Zerkee is a Copyright Specialist in the Simon Fraser University Copyright Office (Canada), where she develops and delivers copyright education and provides copyright information to instructors, researchers, students, and staff. She has an interest in author rights, the publishing process, and open access. Jennifer’s current research, with Stephanie Savage (UBC), is looking at the language and substance of recommendations submitted to the Parliamentary committee reviewing Canada’s Copyright Act, with an aim of improving advocacy by libraries and higher education.
