Mandana Seyfeddinipur heads the Endangered Languages Archive (ELAR) and the Endangered Languages Documentation Programme (ELDP). She received her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen. She directs the archive and the documentation programme and provides training in documentation focussing on multimodality, gesture and interaction in documentary linguistics. Her interests are language documentation, linguistic and cognitive diversity, multimodality with a focus on manual gesture, visual mode of language, language use and language documentation, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, the role of video in language documentation.
