The relationship of the Commons with Traditional Knowledge is an under-explored aspect of the Open Movement. It’s not clear how Traditional Knowledge can benefit from the Commons. These issues were discussed at the CC Global Summit in 2018. Since then, CC has released a White Paper, drawing feedback from various stakeholders around the world. The proposed panel aims to take this conversation forward. It will invite a diverse range of stakeholders to delve deeper into how the open movement can better serve communities of all kinds, especially Indigenous communities.
